MANX GRAND PRIX 2009

Congratulations to all the riders using Maxton Suspension at the Manx Grand Prix in 2009

At the Manx Grand Prix this year we were testing and developing our new Maxton gas twinshocks for classic bikes. Using the new T260-C twinshocks were Ryan Farquhar on the Paton (1st place), Ollie Linsdell on another Paton and Alan Oversby on both the 350 and 500 M.V Augusta's. All the riders mentioned were also using our new GP20 fork cartridges. Both the T260-C twinshocks and the GP20 fork cartridges were used with great success. Due to the weather both the Senior and Junior races were run at the same time. Both Ryan and Ollie chose to run in the Senior race, while Alan chose to take the 350 M.V Augusta out in the Junior race. After 3 laps Ryan Farquhar was leading the Senior and Ollie Linsdell was 2nd, Alan Oversby was also leading the Junior race. Unfortunately due to the engine problems both Ollie and Alan retired, but Ryan went on to win the Senior Classic race, smashing the lap record in the process, setting a new lap record of 110.984mph.
