FITTING MAXTON FORK BUMP ADJUSTER VALVES

• First of all turn the fork upside down so all the oil drains to the bottom of the leg. There is an O Ring in the fork top so oil will not leak out.
• Remove the original valve by using an open-ended spanner or the special Maxton socket provided. In some installations you will need to loosen the housing with a spanner or socket first, then unscrew the whole valve using a flat blade screwdriver. If you do not use the screwdriver then you will lose the ball bearings from the original valve.
• Then simply screw the new Maxton valve in place of the original valve and tighten using a 14mm socket.
• The Maxton valve is to be tightened to 10 N.m or 1 Kg.m
